About Me and DanoSongs.com

Thank you for visiting. I'm Dan-O and DanoSongs.com is my Website. I started this site several years ago as a place to post a few tracks I recorded as a singer/songwriter. Then one day I added some instrumentals I created for fun. Since then the requests from visitors for music for YouTube videos, games, indie films, and slideshows has been non-stop.

Now I regularly compose instrumentals and post new MP3s on my blog. Since I was a Music Business major in college I knew just what to do to set up a very user friendly license. If you have questions about using the music you can read the License FAQ. Dear Dano, thank you for your beautiful music. I suggest you to place( compress ) your music also in Ogg format, the quality will be better.
Ogg video and audio files now play without plugins in Firefox, Google Chrome, and other browsers, so the player you have seen on my site is a default browser player :) - just use HTML5 and tag.
Ogg Vorbis is free audio format not restricted by patens and sounds better than PM3, if It is compress down to a smaller size than MP3.

They have just launched their Gulfsouth Youth Biodiesel Project whereby they turn used cooking oil (and boy do we have a lot of that down here with our fried foods) into biodiesel fuel.
